The Mission.

The mission of the Ladybug CDH Foundation is to raise awareness of the birth defect congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and raise money to donate towards research and to provide financial assistance to families in the Pacific Northwest impacted by CDH.

Despite being one of the most common major congenital anomalies — affecting 1 in every 2,500 to 3,000 live births — CDH remains far less recognized than other birth defects.

Our mission is to change that. Through the dedication of our volunteers and donors, we are committed to ending CDH by funding promising medical research focused on treatment and prevention. Additionally, we provide direct financial and emotional support to Pacific Northwest families navigating life with a CDH child.

While financial donations are the most direct way to support our cause, your time and talents can make a meaningful impact as well. Whether you choose to volunteer, fundraise, or spread awareness, your involvement helps ease the burden for families facing CDH.

You can donate directly by clicking here, or contact us to learn more about how you can get involved. Our efforts are made possible through fundraising events like our annual Ladybug 5K/10K Run and the generosity of corporate and private donors. Together, we can bring hope and support to those who need it most.
